SENIOR GROUP PERFORMANCE
DVD showcasing a senior group performance about the different literary
perspectives of the NAACP and the Urban League during the Harlem Renaissance.
The play presents the perspective of each organization from the point of view of an
elderly couple who compare the Harlem Renaissance to the emerging Civil Rights
movement. The performance earned fifth place at National History Day 2005, as
well as the award for the Outstanding Entry on African American History. Includes
an interview with the students.
