Our Treasures: Highlights from the Minnesota Museum of American Art is a scholarly catalog featuring thirty of the museum’s most outstanding and impressive artworks from its permanent collection. The collections of the Minnesota Museum of American Art encompass the work of significant American artists from the 19th century to the present, with special emphasis on paintings by School of the Eight, mid-century studio craft, 20th-century drawings, and work by artists from Minnesota and the Midwest.
Designed by Joseph D. R. O’Leary of VetoDesign.com, this 84-page, full-color catalog accompanies the exhibition Our Treasures: Highlights from the MN Museum of American Art which opens at the Tweed Museum of Art at the University of Minnesota Duluth on August 23, 2011, and continues on into 2012 at the Hillstrom Museum of Art, Gustavus Adolphus College, in St. Peter, and the Carleton College Art Gallery in Northfield.
