Faribault Blue Stewart Plaid Throw
Faribault Woolen Mill was the first company to introduce a stadium blanket with the introduction of the “Pak-A-Robe” in 1949. These rugged throws are designed to be used outdoors and are naturally soil repellent. Faribault pioneered the use of machines to create the distinctive rolled fringe used on this blanket, and the same machine is used today on these throws.
Established in 1865, the Faribault Woolen Mill is a living testament to American craftsmanship, producing fine woolens renowned for their comfort and quality, and inspired by the mill's rich archive. It is one of the last remaining mills in America producing goods from raw wool to finished woolens under one roof.
