Silver pendants in many sizes and designs were a common trade item in the Great Lakes area from the mid 1700's into the mid 1800's, worn by the Native Americans and Voyageurs for decoration, status, and a way to carry their wealth.
Leopold Lisovskis (1947-2019) was a historic silversmith in rural Wisconsin for over 35 years.
