1918 Alien Registration Record Search Request

1918 Alien Registration Record Search Request

For this research service, library staff will scan one individual's Minnesota 1918 Alien Registration record and send it to you.

PLEASE READ: Official Request

Official requests include notarization by library staff attesting that the records are accurate reproductions of the original documents held at the Minnesota State Archives. Also includes Minnesota State Archives stamped citation. All documents mailed via the United States Postal Service.

This level of service requires significantly more staff time to complete and send. We offer it for official legal uses only; these include dual citizenship applications, real ID, active court cases, benefits claims, etc.

DO NOT ORDER FOR RESEARCH OR GENEALOGY PURPOSES.

To order this request, you'll need to find the individual you're looking for in the 1918 Alien Registration index for Minnesota. To do this, navigate to the Iron Range Research Center's website.

To perform a search, click on Record Type and choose Alien Registration of 1918.

Your search may include exact spellings or first and/or last names, or you can use the dropdown menus in the search box to modify your search parameters. There is also a Soundex option at the bottom of the search box which will pull up similar sounding names. It's best to try various spellings and search types, as names weren't always recorded accurately.

When you've found a record that you would like to order, we need the individual's first and last name, the roll number and frame number. Please enter that information onto the form below.
